| Shift Organizer | Scott Leroy |
| Description | The Restored Souls Foundation's mission is to provide support and resources to families with vulnerable children. We aim to prevent caretaker burnout by encouraging hope and restoring joy for foster, adoptive, medically fragile and families with special needs children because we are all God's children. We do this through a variety of free community events. Volunteers will support our Kids Hooked on Fishing Tournament located at Carolina Beach State Park. You will assist with baiting lines, casting lines, detangling lines and having fun with the children that show up. Any sort of fishing experience would be extremely helpful but not required. We average anywhere between 30-50 kids ranging in age from 2 to 18 all of them have either some sort of special need or are connected to foster care. We provide lunch and Italian ice. We can't guarantee anyone will catch a fish, but we can guarantee a great time and connection to some sweet children. What to bring: Sunscreen, Water, Clothes/shoes for getting wet or muddy, Insect repellent |

The marina is at the very end of the road into the park so its about 1/2 miles in. You can park in the parking lot for regular cars near the boat launch and then walk across to our tent that we set up by the shoreline. It is bright blue with flags, hard to miss. |
