Shift Name	Volunteer with Cape Fear River Watch
Shift Organizer	Scott Leroy
Description	Cape Fear River Watch protects and improves the water quality of the Cape Fear Basin for all people through education, advocacy, and action. We work in North Carolina's largest and most diverse watershed doing everything from community clean-ups, to policy work, to education programming for all ages, to water sampling, to citizen science to restoration projects. We are currently wrapping up a large deck and entryway project on the front on the building. This project will be a springboard for a number of building improvements to make our space much nicer and much nicer looking. We need help on landscaping (weeding, weed-eating, invasive plant removal, etc), and painting (a shed). Items to Bring: Closed-toed shoes, Sunscreen, Water, Clothes/shoes for painting, Clothes/shoes for getting wet or muddy, Work gloves, Insect repellent, Safety goggles A set of electric hedge trimmers, and a weed-eater would be very helpful.
