Shift Details
| Shift Name | Volunteer with the Diaper Bank |
|---|---|
| Shift Organizer | Scott Leroy |
| Description | The Diaper Bank of North Carolina's mission is to increase awareness of and access to essential hygiene items to promote dignity, health, and quality of life for the people of North Carolina by distributing diapers, adult incontinence items, and period products to individuals and families struggling to afford these basic need items. Volunteers repackage diapers or period products, prepare orders for our community partner agencies who distribute our basic need items, and organize donations. Work is done standing, but accommodations can be made for those who would like to sit. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes. As long as volunteers have good energy and a positive attitude, they will do fine. Come ready to wrap diapers in plastic wrap! If you would like to bring a donation when you come, our most needed items are size 7 diapers, 4t/5t pull-ups, and girls and women's leggings. |
